Nursing homes? Extraordinary talent? This all started with a major flaw in personalised medicine.
A prestigious author has released an article, bearing the quote:
Elderly people were more likely to experience many chronic diseases at once, and funding for studies focusing on personalised medicine for elders was often diverted for younger patients. This may account for the inconsistent delivery of personalised healthcare to the elderly.
This is a problem because elders make up roughly 9% of the population, and if 40% of these elders need personalised medicine, we simply cannot be lax about their medication. This nine percent of the population are people, who don’t deserve to die of something they can treat. A contradicting argument that Kiki and I have noted, is that whilst 9% of the population might be elderly, 91% isn’t. If it was a choice between an infant and elderly, you’d pick the infant. But maybe there doesn’t have to be this choice. If all elderly people are treated with the medication they need (as are the ‘other people’), this world could be a happier place.

Elderly should not have inconsistent delivery of personalised healthcare. This is not fair. Our nursing home, which Kiki and I are funding, will close this gap. This nursing home will employ only the best to look after our elders.
