ABOUT
Raz and Kiki's cookie parlour is a fund-raising cookie parlour, selling only the best cookies in the town. For those of you wondering what this absolutely fantastic cookie parlour is raising funds for, it goes back all the way to the Mexican government's proposal to save the Sea of Cortez. They are making a business of primarily voluntourists.
We have devised a solution to an undermining problem - voluntourists aren't trained! If you decide to stay at the Sea of Cortez for six months, you assist marine biologists with studies of rare Cortez species. Efforts focus on three areas: long-term rehabilitation of injured marine life, identifying non- indigenous species in the Sea of Cortez, and the Darwin Initiative’s young species protection programs. The thing is - can we trust untrained humans around endangered species?
Our solution to this issue is to add a training facility - for all stays, whether it being 2 weeks, 3 months, or 6 months. You might be asking, "How do you fund this training facility?” Well, that’s where our cookies (freely supplied to the trainees, mind you) come in! We are selling world-famous cookies that are so deliciously sustainably brilliant that everyone will by them, hence purchasing a state-of-the-art training facility, which will include lifelike training devices and choices voluntourists will have to face during their stays.
