What do cookies have to do with the Mexican government? Save the fish? None of this sounds realistic...

Well, you have a great point, whoever is asking these questions. The central idea of Raz & Kiki's Cookie Parlour is not, in fact, cookies, it is the amount of endangered fish in the Sea of Cortez. Voluntourists want to help, and want to experience the natural beauty of the sea, but can untrained humans work with specially trained marine biologists? This is why Raz and I are starting the initiative to fund a training facility, to teach voluntourists how to save the fish, with one month of training taking up their six-month stay.
